A Dream

Last night I had a dream. There were some sort of evil men taking all the elderly, overweight and "useless" people and throwing them down these hills to put them to death. Only the "perfect" would be spared. I screamed and wailed as I saw many people I loved and knew being put to death. Later, in the dream my undercover scheme was to fight and destroy these men. I tried to rally others who were still living and they were being fed these decadent cherries in little plastic cups, and seemed to be on holiday. One black woman said to me, "It's no use, they are stronger than we are" and she continued eating.
I remember someone saying "The goal of the enemy has been to make us feel lazy and useless so we would lose our desire to fight." And as much as I used my transformer powers and acrobatic tricks (which I seem to have in many dreams) I was unsuccessful. I woke up and all I could remember was that line someone had said, it was clear as day, so I asked the Lord to speak to me about it.

He said: My heart is beating for the hurting and the enemy is on the rampage against them. Some he tries to destroy through disease and old age and others he paralyzes through feelings of "uselessness".

"And Jesus answered and told them "Elijah will come first and restore all things, and it will be as it is written of the Son of man that he will suffer many things and be treated as though he were NOTHING." Mk.9:12

Jesus came in a stable as a baby in a manger and when he was led to the cross he was led on a donkey to a piece of wood and a crowd of mockers. I'm sure through His life many times the devil whispered lies of "uselessness" to Jesus, in order to deter Him from the fight.

But I tell you that it is the wood of the manger that held our Savior and it was the wood of the cross that held our Salvation.
Everyday is a fight! You are a vital part in this battle for lost souls and don't believe the lie that you are useless. If Jesus listened to that we would still be in hell and if you listen, others around you will be headed the same way!

I believe like Jesus we are given "cups of apathy" everyday, it's what we do with them...
Cast down that "cup of cherries"! We all know what they are in our lives. To some it is our t.v. shows, our internet sites, our favorite books, our video games, our family time our jobs or our ministries.. ANYTHING THAT KEEPS YOU FROM THE BATTLE IS A "CUP OF CHERRIES", and too much of any of these can cause feelings of uselessness. Use this day for Jesus: Use this day to pray and wage war for those you love and the lost. This is what the enemy hates and this is what the enemy needs- a good sock in the gut for all he does in our lives!!
pray for me . Rae.

Beautiful Rae...
I was faithful this morning in fulfilling your request. I prayed for you. I was reading today 1Thes, 2Thes and 1Tim and would insert your name in prayer when prompted. Like this...

I praise you Jesus for Rae and her service in your kingdom building work. Continue to use her to warn those who are idle, to encourage the timid, help the weak and to be patient with everyone (1Thes5). May she be always joyful, in continual prayer and giving thanks in all circumstances because this makes you happy. May your Spirit's fire in her Lord not be put out. Thank you that she doesn't treat your prophecies with contempt but tests everything, holding onto the good and avoiding every kind of evil. May you God...the God of peace, continue to sanctify her through and through, keeping her entire spirit, soul and body blameless until your return Jesus. You are faithful and you will do it. Hallelujah! and Amen.
