Wanting more;Keeping less

I felt the Lord tell me to write this verse so I will write and give you straight what I feel the Lord tells me to write:
"But I say unto you that you do not resist evil: but whoever smites you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also"Mt 5:39

Jesus wants soemthing more than what we see on our t.v's and what we read online and what we crave through the stores. He longs to give us a revolutioanry understanding of what the cross is all about. It is letting go of what we want to do and grabbing hold of Him in that moment. Rebuking even our own instincts that we were born with and waiting on the Spirit for His next move. This verse is totally inspired by the Spirit. Jesus didn't even say what his own human nature would say and he stood out and just spoke what heaven mandated him to ... then He lived it!!..

I challenge us by the Lord to deny what you feel for today and lay before the spirit and seek His direction for the day. One right move with God is better than three million we make on our own.. The Lord says all these works will burn in the end times.. we waste so much time doing what is "everyday" when Jesus meant for life to be so much more exciting than this. We were made fore adventure ..can you feel your heart race when you feel that word hit your heart?

Be radical. Be still and you will find revival in the life changing compulsions of the Spirit. Your children are thirsty for this and your church is craving it. You were made for such a day as THIS!!!!!!

Hallelujah!! He is alive !! Shout, Dance be alive.. or you will rot with the rags that fell from Lazerus and Jesus when they left the tomb! Doubt is straight from hell and I rebuke it as it tries to rob us from the target, the goal and the prize..Christ Our King!
love you all rae

Reinforcements

Sometimes we don't even perceive our need. Life is moving along at its normal pace and we are getting through our days not feeling too down, and doing well.
How good our God is... that He sees our need in the spirit -even before the effects of that need are made known in the visible world- and God sends reinforcements to strengthen us. Encouragement, a hearty challenge, spiritual-ammo can come from many sources: preaches, radio, blogs, etc. But "reinforcements" are living breathing people who God sends to us in His perfect timing to help strengthen the spiritual framing of our lives.

I'm thankful for a friend who made a surprise visit to our coast this week. We had dinner with Rick Munn, who happened to arrive as Rae and I were putting up the tree. (That's 3 BIGGIES you've been there for, Rick: 1) when we first met 2) when we wed 3) and now our first Christmas tree! ...if you're planning on making the birth, let us know so we can get you a hospital pass.)

Our spirits were energized by his presence. It's weird when God sends reinforcements, because on the outside our bodies can seem tired, but the Lord looks within (searching the heart)- and our hearts felt refreshed by simply being able to breathe the same air for a while. And what power there is in prayer! Thank you, Lord!

Keep your eyes alert for the reinforcements God sends your way. It's a wonderful thing. Soak it in!

(No. That's not snow, just a little rain. Tomorrow is December 3rd and the forecast is: Sunny skies (i love it!))

So thankful!

Hello from California! Mom & Dad (Freeman) just had they're 30th wedding anniversary last month. The whole family got together for a portrait. When everyone else was busy, my brother snapped this photo of us so we could post it. Rae is doing good. Crazy to think that there's a baby growing inside that beautiful woman.

We heard the baby's heartbeat two weeks ago, and after we get the ultrasound we'll let you know boy or girl. To all our friends and family: Hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday. (25 more days till Chirstmas!) Can't wait to see all of you again soon.
