Love and it's power

"But they said, not on the feast day, or there will be an uproar among the people" Mt.26:5
This verse is following the plotting of the Pharisees, chief priests , scribes and the elders of the people. They are plotting to capture Jesus and kill him . The reason they didn't at this time was because the people would rise against them to defend Jesus.

I think "What did Jesus do that was so amazing?" miracles? casting out demons? magic and bread tricks?
IDON'T THINK SO.LISTEN TO ME...
My heart is beating and I can feel the Spirit yell .."It was the LOVE".. who else could just look at someone like a hard government employee like Matthew and melt his heart to leave everything..
This is so powerful.. Love. It is captivating if you let yourself sit under it's power long enough.. It's liquid if you let it fill you and cmpel you into an action that inspires the next generation to crave what you have.. It's revolutionary if you grab it and inhale and let it fill your veins with selflessness... But it's dry bones if you never dig in and fix your eyes on it. It's all the devil's dirt from his shoes if you only lift your hands but never let Him touch them.. It's all hell if you don't allow your mind to melt in His presence and stop thinking your faith away and spending your gifts on the crap of this world..HELP US JESUS..we keep running from what we need and never relize we are suffocating without this power .. How do we keep living..? we don't.. we fake it. drug it. sit on it. but we never use the lungs he gave us to really Live!! we breathe but we aren't living!!! I miss life..I can feel when I am living and when I am in death and decay.. Fight..fight all the things that we do not need to find what we can't live without.. it's all attacking us.. our looks, our weight, our mirrors .. they scream images into our minds and attach strings to our backs so they can control us like walking puppets.. but we do not see is that they are chains.. that are keep our souls in death ..we've avoided hell but we are living like the dead.. pray for me.Rae.

pouring out my guts...(from the Bride)

yes, the "bride"is finally entering the blog world.."hello to all who (if any) read this"..I decided that this will be a place I pour out what is burning in my soul..so here I go. Me and my handsome man went for a walk at night and as we walked a girl was screaming bloody murder and a man was yelling and she ran out and someone pulled her back in, I just stopped and thought we should call the cops but of course tom thought we should pray..so we sat on the curb and prayed. I felt that there is always a spiritual battle in the heavenlys and it is our church to engage ourselves and FIGHT. I figure in life we are either fighting the enemy or letting him use us to oppose God's army..one or the other at all times.. I wonder about the apathetic and where they rate in the battle and I believe that their apathy is the sharpest tool the enemy uses to keep back God's hand from sweeping across this rebellious, possessed capitivity. I was reading in Hebrews 5:7, where it speaks of Jesus .."offering up prayers and supplications with STRONG CRYING AND TEARS unto him that was able to save from death, and He was HEARD in that He feared." I always wonder what it is to "fear the Lord".. Its abandoning your emotions recklessly to a power that is sovereign and ready to hear and move where there is faith. God says that he is always looking to and fro around the world to see who will pray..I am humbled tonight. I feel a burning to weep and WAIL and SCREAM for God's hand to move and for armies of heaven to be released. There is alot of crap around us ..Push past whatever it is , even if it is yourself and grab the throne and don't let go till you pray with passion and feel the wings rush past you and hear the swords in battle and the victory is declared... I stand with braveheart and cry "FREEDOM". may we all be passionate or die . apathy is suicide in the spirit. we declare war on it's power and heaviness that comes through everything from our filled closets to our disease filled televisions.. where is prayer ? It is silenced by our crunching potato chips and lexus engines..help us God we are drowning in success, careers and college diplomas..it's all hell's ashes if it doesn't bring your kingdom to earth!- I covet your prayers.rae.
