Jesus, I Need You Now.

A friend of mine was in a bad car crash.

While driving at a good 65mph he was struck by another driver. Dan (my friend) remembers seeing the airbag deploy- after that he was unconscious. When he came to he saw that he was pinned inside the car. The front of his vehicle was crushed in like an accordion, and Dan, who is a decent size guy, had himself completely crushed the steering wheel with his own body.

As he regained consciousness Dan said, "Jesus, I need you NOW!" At that moment he felt a hand on his shoulder. A stranger who had seen the accident had gotten in to the back seat of the car, placed his hand on Dan's shoulder, and asked him "Can I pray with you?"
Dan's response was "Get going man!" They prayed together in that demolished car until the paramedics arrived. It took the fire department fifteen minutes to get Dan out of the vehicle. After he was pulled out, the car burned.

It's no movie, it's life.
It's not a coincidence, it's Jesus.

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you." Isaiah 43:2
"I will never leave you or forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

The Heart Beat of the Son

"And God spoke to Noah, and to his sons with him saying,
And I behold, I establish my covenant with you, and your seed after you; And with every living creature that is with you, of fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth."

Jesus longs to be in covenant with us. A covenant is intimate, it is by choice and it is life changing. He craves to hear you say "Jesus I long to covenant to you" You are saying that you are desiring to see Him in your life and come and make house in your home and dine at your kitchen table and eat with your children. Can you hear it? The ache and beating in His chest to be with you everyday in every moment.

What does this have to do with Noah? Jesus could of easily found a reason to wipe out the earth and start over and not have man. Noah was still a sinner and could have easily been found guilty of something, to include him in the flood and destruction. But Jesus again affirmed to His Father that He wanted to go and be tortured and beaten and killed for man.
Why? He knew the father's longing to be with His children, He knew it because he was made with the same desire.
You can almost hear the conversation and see Jesus hold back His Father's hand of destruction and say "No, my Father, they don't know how much we love them, they just don't understand how we feel and cry for them daily. If they only knew they would turn to us and let our love heal their wounds. I will go. Look, even if there is one like Noah it is worth my life to love him. "

Can you hear Him now? "No father, _______________ (your name) doesn't know the power of our love for them, But when they do they will say your name and hear your heart beat and will turn and run to your arms."

He is always knocking, always craving and always anticipating your voice to say His name, so He can say yours and you will never be the same again.

...Worth a Thousand Words

Just wanted to say to our out-of-state family (and friends,)... "WE LOVE YOU!" Rae and I are both healthy, laughing a lot, and today we are enjoying a day of rest. Notice the glimpse of Raechel's red kitchen in the background. (It only took 4 coats of paint!!)

The first blog (...in both order and preeminence)

Hey friends, family! (...and anyone else who reads this.)

This blogging thing has a power to it.
I'm not a fan (at all) of the "I ate fruit loops for breakfast, then I went to my friends house" type of blog. But many/most blogs that I check are attempting to 'say something.' I also try to say something (which is why I have trouble writing all the time, 'cause sometimes I feel like I've got little to say.)
Now the beauty of blogs, and the reason why I think it's so appealing to log in and read them daily, is that what's being said is fresh- it is in the context of that actual day. It's alive, it's connected to the present that we all live in together... just look at the date to prove it! ...Books- they aren't like that. What a book offers can be fascinating, life-empowering, and even relevant to one's situation depending on the topic. But to really live, in the sense of an actual literal day- July 15, 2005- a book just can't compete on that level with a blog. Books aren't made that way.

Question. If Jesus wrote a blog everyday, would you check it? Now, don't shirk this off as silly... I'm serious. You're reading this blog right now, so you must have got online, typed in this address or clicked on a link, and started reading. If Jesus sat down every morning, with a cup of coffee in his hand, and typed up a blog on his keyboard and uploaded it to the internet WOULD YOU CHECK IT? Would you read it?

That's when it hits me. Jesus thought of this blog thing years ago. His word IS alive. Unlike any other book, the bible is awake to the present. It's a blog and it's dated today. His thoughts are there, in black and white- and here's the best part... there's no "I ate fruit loops for breakfast." Nope, he is actually 'saying something.'

Jesus, I'm sorry for not checking your blog with the same interest and with the same frequency that I check others. Forgive me. I do want to hear your thoughts, to know your mind, to connect with you today.

Hope this meant something to you like it did to me.

Drowning in self

attention: this message is from God and has caused conviction in me and may do so in those who read it.

Self it is a worm that tries to strangle us and keep the life of Christ from exhaling through our pores.

I find the times the Lord wants to move through me or others this beast comes up and tries to wrestle with me. You can feel the claws around your neck and the fight begins to reveal itself as being the biggest battle we as Christians fight.

The verse the Spirit has is: "CRY OUT AND SHOUT, you inhabitant of Zion:
for GREAT is the Holy One in the midst of you."Is.12:6

THE LORD SAYS SHOUT , CRY!! DECLARE AND EXCLAIM!! The Lord in the inner core of you is greater than the devils that harrass you. IDENTIFY that spirit of self and REBUKE it in the name of Jesus our Lord and King.

Don't be a pansy getting the crap kicked out of you. RISE UP MY DEAR FRIEND AND FIGHT LIKE THE LIVES OF THE LOST ARE SCREAMING FOR IT.

BE VIGILENT FOR THE ENEMY COMES LIKE A LION, SEEKING WHO HE MAY DEVOUR. He is fighting for blood and heck aren't we??!! The Blood of Jesus!

Do not fear the Lord your God is in you and is always ready for a display of His power and victory over the enemy who shames His Father daily.

Hallelujah! "But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell." Pr.5:4-5

The spirit of self has her feet in hell and if she can wrestle you through life her goal is to drag you closer and closer to where her feet touches- the fires of hell itself. But you are stronger. Don't give in! Every battle overcome is a step closer to the streeets of Gold.

Love conquers all. don't be decieved you will be challenged any time the Lord wants to love through you or others.
Jealousy is the way the enemy keeps us from our prayer partners.
Anger is the way the enemy keeps us from breaking bread and fellowshipping with the Body.
Pride is the way the enemy keeps us from growing and grasping His character through others.
Lust is the way the enemy chains our brain and keeps us in isolation far from the revelations and power that comes from the pure in heart seeing God Almighty.

THIS IS ALL SELF!!
REMEMBER THE BATTLE OF DEMONS THAT WAGE WAR AND STRATEGIZE AGAINST US DAILY, LET YOUR SPIRIT MAKE YOU SENSITIVE TO THE SPIRITS OF HELL AND STAND AND DECLARE THAT GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU THAN THOSE DEMONS WHO RULE THE EARTH.. MAKE TIME FOR PRAYER SO YOU CAN SEE THEM AND DETECT WHERE THEY WILL GO NEXT IN THE BODY AND BE THERE TO MEET THEM WITH POWER OF FAITH AND EXPRESSED IN CREATIVE ACTS OF LOVE. HALLELJAH. God's Reign

"Increase the days of the king's life, his years for many generations. May he be enthroned in God's presence forever; appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him. THEN will I sing praises to your name and fulfill my vows day after day."Psalms 61

Jesus is so MIGHTY. (I will say it again, and as you read this say it loud with me) JESUS IS SO MIGHTY. Don't be fooled. God is not held in by our view of Him, and we are not held from Him because of His view of us. HALLELUJAH. I shout in the face of the demons who taunt our people- HALLELUJAH!

First you must remind yourself that we are royalty. Nothing less. Although the enemy would love to keep that knowledge from your understanding. I will remind all of us that in I Peter it says that we are of royal blood.

"For my people have been taken away for nothing, and those who rule them mock, declares the Lord." Isaiah 52:6

Open your spiritual ears and allow yourself to hear the mockings of Satan. It is good for us Christians to become aware of his presence and influence over us and our loved ones. RISE UP MY FELLOW WARRIORS. This is not a merry-go-round, this is a war. Stop looking for the cotton candy, and look for your sword. Do not spend time in the market place of this world my fellow pilgrim. They have nothing that will benefit us in our battle against the beast. LIVE SIMPLY. I hear the Spirit tell us this. Please do not lose your focus with a veil of complacency and distraction. It is our greatest fatality in the U.S. IT IS TIME WE HEAR THE SCREAMS OF SATAN, AND SILENCE THE SCREAMS OF THE SUFFERING!

"Shake off your dust; RISE UP, sit enthroned, O Jerusalem. FREE YOURSELF FROM THE CHAINS ON YOUR NECK, O captive daughter of Zion. Isaiah 52:2
Look around you. You are enthroned. But you seek to rummage through the rags of this world with the commoners. NO. NO NO. I yell out to you in my Spirit. Shake off that chain. DO NOT LET YOUR THINGS IN YOUR HOME AND CHAMBERS ENCHAIN YOU. Do not become prisoner to your possessions. They are hard rulers and have a whip of fear that will try to control you. Own nothing that you are afraid to lose, Lose nothing you are afraid to own. Stand in heavenly places and wage war on the Spirits that flood our country- greed, selfishness, lust and laziness. First look in your own home, they only come to STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY . Do not serve and move to the sound of their whips. We are above that, through the mighty reign and power of our King Jesus Christ. It will be hard but break lose from the chains and RISE UP, with all the hatred toward Satan and his demons who have stolen from us to long. Do not sell your royal birth rights to Satan for a pot of stew. DECLARE WAR ON THE CACKLING DEMONS WHO BEAT AND ROB US DAILY. HEAR THEM AND RISE MY SISTERS AND BROTHERS OF ROYALTY, OUR SWORD IS MIGHTY AND OUR SHIELD IS READY TO BE COVERED WITH THE BLOOD OF SATAN. CUT THEIR NECKS AND TAKE OUT THEIR TONGUES. Christian Snails...

"But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him.." Mk.5:6
This verse is referring to the story about the man who was cutting himself in the tombs , and was bound with chains but could never be kept in chains. He was filled demons, so many that when they were cast out of him the entire herd of pigs ran violently into the water and drowned. But the key here is he SAW Jesus! This is the only thing Jesus did in this village, he crossed the sea to this place called the Gadarenes, healed one guy and left. Now it was the village who begged him to leave, but the Father knew this before He told Jesus to go.

A couple things I feel the Holy Ghost is saying here..
1. There are many today who are suffocating in demonic possession and oppression, screaming and cutting themselves, alone in their own "tombs" (or we in America call them homes)

2. Many times as Christians we look for the multitude and then act. We want to tally our numbers and look like we are saving large amounts of souls, why? Because that makes us look Christian. But I don't know which Jesus you are looking at, the one I adore is going out of His way for ONE!!!We have fabricated our own gods and they have NO similarity to the real Christ, who screams to reach that ONE!

3.When the man sees Jesus he worships Him, and yet this man is still at this point demonically possessed by many demons.
How many times are we satisfied to fill our churches with bodies but never passionate to fill them with souls? Jesus cries out that our buildings are filled with people, but they are not even His children, they are still possessed and governed by demons and Satan's hosts.

4.Jesus goes to him. He does not pray for this man to come to him and walk in his "church", he goes to his "tomb"; his "home". He leaves his own place of success and numbers and keeps reaching for the ones His father sees.

Too many of us have become moving snails. We carry our homes with us, but just like a snail we have room for only "three" people: "Me,myself, and I"
We have our own movie nights, our own dinners, our own outings with our 2 kids and S.U.V's . We are drowning in our own shells. Christ never wanted us to become crustaceans, he calls us to be Christians!! The name means "little Christ" . So everyday we should be sitting and asking where and what HE wants us to do and go. Only on His spontaneous Spirit appointments, will we experience life and the world will experience FREEDOM..."JEEEESSSUUUSSS, HELP US TO BREAK FREE FROM OUR X-BOXES, T.V. SHOWS AND PRETTY LIVES. WHO ARE WE TRYING TO FOOL??!! WE ARE SICK AND THAT IS WHY YOU FREED US TO FREE OTHERS. WE HAVE TAKEN THE CROSS AND HAVE USED IT TO BAR UP OUR DOORS- KEEPING US FROM THE LOST AND THE LOST FROM US..."
